A NOTE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Dear Destin Snowbirds
WELCOME to all our returning and new members of the Destin Snowbird Club. Our Board of Directors and volunteers have planned an amazing season with activities and events for everyone. This year’s calendar of events and activities, as well as information on how you can register either on line or in person, has been uploaded to our webpage at thedestinsnowbird.com. Be sure to check out the Destin Snowbird Facebook page for up-to-date information on Club activities beginning November 1 through the end of February.
Our season kicks off with our Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at the Destin Community Center on December 15 at 12:45 followed by face-to-face registration from 1 - 3 pm. We hope you’ll bring a friend with you. By the way, the Destin Snowbird Club is open to local residents as well.
Our first meeting of the year is December 16 at 10 am. at the Destin Community Center on Stahlman Avenue in Destin. We have entertainment, local vendors, a raffle and loads of door prizes at each of our meetings. You can register online or take advantage of our face-to-face registration process from 8:30 until 9:45 am. Our website has all the details on registration with dates and times throughout the season.
The Emerald Coast and Destin have much to offer, and we hope you’ll make the Destin Snowbird Club a part of your experience.

Q. So . . . what do Destin Snowbirds actually do?
A. In addition to the weekly meetings and entertainment, snowbirds can enjoy many planned activities and events during their stay in Destin. These activities and events can be found by clicking on the Club Activities page.
Q. Sounds like fun! How do I join the Destin Snowbirds?
A. You sign up at a Registration event. See the Registration page for information.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. See the Registration page for fees. Some activities are free and others are reasonably priced to cover cost.
Q. I would like to get more involved with the Destin Snowbirds, how do I do that?
A. We welcome your interest! Fill in your personal information on the back of the Registration Card when you register. You may also contact a chairperson of an event or activity or a member of the Board of Directors.
Parking is free for snowbirds at the Tuesday meetings.
